客户在购买柴油发电机组之前为了解其使用耗油的费用情况，而大多柴油发电机组客户都不知道柴油发电机组油耗量的大小以及如何怎样计算柴油发电机组耗油量的方式，都会先咨询发电机组的燃油消耗量；其实很难有一个统一的说法。一般来说，柴油发电机耗油跟以下两个个因素有关：
一、燃油消耗率，不同品牌的柴油发电机组，其燃油消耗率不同，消耗油量就不同；
二、用电负载的大小，负载大了油门大耗油就大些，反之负载小了相对油耗也就要小些。
