The noise reduction and environmental protection project of the generator room must be designed and constructed according to the specific situation of the room. In order to ensure the normal operation of the unit, attention must be paid to the following aspects when designing the generator room noise reduction project:
1. Security system: Fuel tanks and phase boxes shall not be installed in the computer room, flammable and explosive materials shall not be stacked, and fire-fighting equipment shall be provided. Sound insulation of the entrance and exit passages in the computer room: One or two soundproof doors are set up based on the principle of facilitating the transfer of generator sets in and out, as well as the convenience of personnel working in the computer room. The doors are made of metal frame and are equipped with high-quality soundproof materials, with a thickness of 8cm to 12cm.
2. Sound insulation of the air intake system: Install sound-absorbing slots and soundproof walls on the air intake surface, and adopt a forced air intake method to maintain the fresh air required for the normal operation of the unit.
